Facilities Overview
The Markelfingen Campsite offers approximately 2,600 square meters of pitches for motorhomes, caravans, tents, as well as rental accommodation, some located directly on the lakeshore.
For our motorhome and caravan guests, we have around 98 pitches available, with 18 designated as premium pitches.
Our tent area features a lovely tree population on a well-maintained meadow with electricity connections.
Luxurious camping at Lake Constance: In addition to its stunning location, Markelfingen Campsite**** also offers modern and spacious sanitary facilities. Here you will find hot showers, wash basins, WC facilities, as well as washing and drying machines – so you don’t have to compromise on comfort while camping.
Our rental accommodations serve as the perfect alternative to a hotel room and provide an affordable option for cyclists exploring the Lake Constance region.
Family-friendliness is a priority for us. Our young guests can enjoy a large playground right by the lakeshore, featuring plenty of exciting opportunities for digging, jumping, spinning, and bouncing. A fleet of Bobby Cars is ready for the next adventurous driver.
Our campers can also easily reach the site via public transport: a train station for regional trains to Constance and Radolfzell is conveniently nearby.
By the way, our camping guests receive the Bodenseecard West upon payment of the tourist tax (see prices). With this card, you can use buses and local trains in the entire Hegau-Bodensee transport network for free.

- Please note: Entry and exit is not possible between 12:30 and 14:00.
- Power connection with 16-amp CEE Euro plug.
- Limited satellite reception due to tree coverage.
- Dogs are allowed in your own caravan/motorhome.
- Dogs are not allowed in the swimming area/water.
- Dogs are not allowed in the tent meadow.
- Dogs are not allowed in the rental accommodations.
- Reservations are absolutely necessary during the high season.
- Quiet hours from 22:00 to 8:00.

Can I just arrive spontaneously?
Basically yes: During the high season, a reservation is strongly recommended.

Is there direct access to the lake?
Yes. The campsite has direct access to its own beach.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs in motorhomes and caravans are allowed. Not in tents or rental accommodations.
The beach, playground, and tent area is off-limits to dogs.
